What writing used to be:
An idea came.
I wrote.
And while I wrote, a lot of thinking happened:
Will people understand it?
Like it?
What feeling do I want to leave them with?
Is it inspiring?
Does it guide them, reach them, teach them?
All these filters.
We think it’s normal.
It’s called copywriting.
Yet with it, writing became a means to an end.
I never questioned it.
Until I did.
Until something in me wanted out.
Something wanted to be free.
Now, writing happens differently.
I sit.
I type.
Hands move, keys click.
Writing just … happens.
When fingers stop, writing is done.
Then, I look at it with eyes that seem to not have seen the text before.
Some tweaks, a little polishing, but now the only aim:
To let each piece be what it already was.
It’s a world of difference.
And at the same time—nothing’s changed.
