I mentioned before that I don’t make a distinction between ‘work’ days and days ‘off’.
I simply do what calls me in each moment, regardless of what day or time it is.
I also don’t track how ‘productive’ I’ve been.
That doesn’t interest me in the least anymore.
Why?
Because I know everything gets done at the right time if I do what feels right, right now. And repeat this every day.
Sometimes, this means that I watch a movie on a Monday morning, or don’t do much business related things for a couple of days in a row.
Sometimes, it looks like it did today, a Saturday.
I:
✨ Rewrote my homepage,
✨ And the opt-in page for my newsletter,
✨ And the confirmation email;
✨ Created a new 404 page;
✨ Fixed an issue with a broken link that showed up in weird places;
✨ Came up with a list of ideas for my newsletter;
✨ And wrote approximately 25 new social media posts (not counting this one).
It looks like I had a productive day.
But I don’t think of it that way.
It was just a day. And everything just happened, like it always does.
Sometimes, what happens looks like ‘being productive’.
Sometimes, it looks like ‘being lazy.’
I don’t put any labels on anything.
I simply let everything unfold exactly as it does.
This is the most effortless, stress-free way to live (and do business!)
AND … it’s the easiest way, too. 🙂
What if there was no need to track, measure, or label anything—just a life unfolding, moment by moment, exactly as it does?
Love,
