Here’s what I’ve seen my clients struggle with all the time:

Writing new copy for their website or bio.

They’ve transformed a lot in a short amount of time, but their website or social media bios don’t reflect that yet.

It makes them eager to rewrite everything, to find the right words, to make sure their copy reflects their current state of being and level of experience.

(And sometimes, their work has changed SO MUCH that they’re selling a completely different service now.)

The basis of this eagerness is fear.

Fear of missing out on clients or opportunities, for example.

Or fear of attracting the ‘wrong’ clients.

They also often struggle with finding the ‘right’ words to talk about themselves or their work.

Again, this usually comes from similar fears.

I’ve made some BIG changes in my business since I started 20 years ago.

Every time, a complete overhaul of my website was necessary.

And every time, the words came on their own, at the right time—which was often later than I wanted. 🙂

The same fears used to plague me, too, until I learned that the right words come at the right time.

Always.

Putting pressure on it doesn’t make them come faster.

It only creates frustration and wastes time.

But more importantly:

It doesn’t matter what your website looks like or how well the content matches where you are.

Yes, words can make a difference and yes, it’s nice if the copy resonates.

AND … it doesn’t matter.

Your ideal clients will find you at the right time.

Regardless of what you do or don’t do.

Regardless of what you say or don’t say.

Regardless of how accurately your copy reflects you today.

You see, there is no separation.

There is no ‘you’ here and a ‘client’ there.

It’s all one flow, one dance, one interconnected web of life.

The more you relax into this truth, the easier everything becomes.

You don’t need to figure it out.

You don’t need to rush or force anything.

Just trust the process.

The words will come.

The clients will come.

All you need to do is show up, stay open, and keep moving from the quiet, steady knowing inside you.

That’s when the magic happens.

When you trust this flow, you’ll realize it was never you writing the copy anyway.

It’s simply life expressing itself through you, effortlessly, in its own perfect timing.

So breathe. Wait. And trust.

The right words will come. And the right people will, too.

Love,

P.S.: I wrote this after experiencing firsthand how the right words always come at the right time—and then flow effortlessly (if you let them).

The copy for my 1-1 coaching page had been waiting to be rewritten for a while, but I didn’t give that any attention.

I knew the words would come, as they always do.

Yesterday morning, they showed up. I created a new page and voila, it was all done without pressure or force. 😉
