I wrote killer copy. Shit.

Last week, I looked at the copy on my homepage.

It was good enough. But I felt it could be better.

So I rewrote it.

Three times.

On Saturday, I wrote copy that was an improvement.

I put it on my website and was happy.

On Sunday, I felt that this copy could still be improved.

I rewrote it.

It was even better.

I was happy.

Monday morning, as I read through the copy again, I felt something stirring.

Could it be … even better?

I started from scratch.

Ditched everything that sounded jargony.

Found ways to say my piece I haven’t used often before—if ever.

I just put that latest version on my website.

It is FIRE!!! 🔥

If I’d read this copy three years ago, I’d have hired myself on the spot! 

(Or, at least have signed up for inspirational articles.)

Even Arjen loved the copy—and he’s nowhere near my ideal client. 🙂

So yeah, it’s great copy.

Which has ONE BIG DOWNSIDE:

Now, I need to uplevel ALL my writing.

I can’t have a fire homepage and write weak ass blogs, can I?!

Hahaha!

Well, I’m not one to shy away from a challenge, especially when it’s about writing.

So, we’ll see what unfolds next …

AND …

I’m not worried or stressed about it.

My writing will come through as it comes through.

Some may be great, some may be weaker.

It’s all good.

It’s all simply life happening.

I don’t have to try, force, or figure anything out.

Neither do you.

Life flows perfectly and mysteriously in its own way.

I’ll let it surprise me.
