Oh, how many hours I spent trying to find the perfect words to describe what I do.

I brainstormed with coaches, tried countless versions, and still … every time someone asked me what I did, I gave a different answer.

And more often than not, people’s eyes glazed over. My answer was too vague.

So I kept tweaking and refining, certain that better words would land better.

But no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stick to my carefully crafted pitch.

Until I realized:

It’s not about the words.

It’s about resonance.

The people whose eyes glazed over were never meant to work with me.

And the people who are meant to work with me don’t care about the words I use.

They feel the essence of my work and know if it’s what they need—or not.

If you struggle with your elevator pitch: stop thinking about it.

Stop chasing the ‘right’ words and focus on being present to what wants to come through in the moment.

It’s okay if you say something different every time.

Every moment is fresh and new anyway.

People resonate with your energy, not the script.

Think about the last time you hired someone.

Did their words convince you—or was it something else?

Let go of the pitch. Just be present. Be YOU.

That’s what lands, way deeper than ANY script ever could.

Love,
