The truth about getting clients (it’s not about actions)

There are SO many stories about marketing and what you need to do to get clients.

So many strategies, tactics, and ideas that are repeated over and over until they start to sound like truths.

And for a long time, I made those stories my own, like:

👉 If you’re not visible, your clients can’t find you.

👉 You can’t get clients if you don’t market.

👉 Your clients come as a result of the actions you take. More actions = more clients. (And no actions = no clients.)

I never questioned this.

But it put a lot of pressure on me.

And if I didn’t get more clients, I thought it was because I did something wrong.

But something shifted.

These stories started to fall away.

Some of them vanished completely.

Sometimes I hear the faint echo of one of these beliefs.

But now I can see them for what they are: just stories.

Here’s what I know now:

Getting clients isn’t about what you do.

It’s not about how many times you post.
It’s not about having the perfect plan.
It’s not about proving your value or convincing people to buy from you.

Your clients, your marketing, your business, and even you—all of it arises from the same source.

There is no separation between you and your clients.

There’s no ‘bridge’ you need to build to connect with them.

When you stop living from the mind—where all these stories, rules, and strategies live—and start living from presence, marketing and getting clients become effortless.

You don’t need to figure out what to do or how to do it.

Actions arise naturally when you rest in awareness.

They’re not your actions—they’re life moving through you.

And the best part?

When you let go of the pressure to make things happen, life has a way of unfolding perfectly.

The clients who resonate with you will find you.

The right ones will say yes.

And the stories about what you should do lose their power.

The truth is, it was never about actions.

It’s always been about being.
