Privacystatement

Privacystatement Brigitte van Tuijl

July 2018

Of course, I will process your personal data in a careful and confidential manner. In order to inform you about this, I have drawn up this privacy statement. (OK, I had a lawyer do it for me. I’m no expert in any of this and, honestly, prefer to spend my time on other things I actually ENJOY spending time on.) If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact me.

  1. About Me

Welcome to my website, thank you for visiting! If you have any questions about this privacy statement or if you wish to submit a request with regard to your rights, do not hesitate to contact me and my team. You can contact us via the details below.

  1. Personal data

I process the following types of personal data

a. Name;

b. Address;

c. Email address;

d. Telephone number;

e. Skype address;

f. VAT number;

g. Company name;

h. Payment details;

How do I obtain your personal data?

I have received the above mentioned personal data from you personally because you either emailed me or my team; filled out the contact form; filled in the application for my 1-1 coaching; signed up for my newsletter OR purchased a program or product.

In short: you gave them to me. My lawyer put some standard sentence here on me also getting info about your business from public registries, but I never do that because why would I? So I deleted that sentence for that reason.

  1. Purposes

For these reasons, I process personal data

I only process your personal data when I am allowed to do so and for the purposes described below.

Applications

You can contact me without obligation to see if I can work with you 1-1. In order to see if we’re a perfect fit, you fill out an application form and after that, we might talk on the phone or Skype to see if and how we can work together. If after that call I make you an offer on how we can work together, I only need your email address so I can send you the proposal. If we decide to work together, I need all your details so that I can create your invoice. I will retain the data until 7 years after the last contact moment, in order to be able to justify my work to the tax authorities. It’s just the law, baby. If it were up to me, I’d throw it out much sooner. I LOVE throwing stuff out, especially when I don’t use it anymore 😉

Products and services

Once you purchase a product or program OR we work together 1-1, I will process your data. I process your contact details to send you information, make arrangements, for the execution of the program/coaching, and the final delivery of products. This information is necessary for the execution of the assignment, without which I cannot enter into the agreement.

These are in any case your name and e-mail address and other data that are necessary to send a correct invoice. When paying, I will also see which bank account this payment comes from and who the account holder is. I keep invoices and payment details for 7 years.

Contact form or email

You can contact me via my contact form or by sending an e-mail. I have a justified interest in processing the data that I have obtained from you in this way. I will process the content of the e-mail or the message via the contact form, your name and e-mail address, with the aim to respond to your message. I keep this communication for a maximum of two years.

Newsletter

I would like to send you a newsletter because you are a customer of mine or because you have registered for it yourself. I process your name and e-mail address to send you information and news and offer the possibility to unsubscribe under each newsletter. I keep your data for this purpose until you have unsubscribed.
