If there’s ONE topic I struggled with, it was money.
I worked on it for so, so long, so, so often.
I explored every solution I could possibly think of.
‘Practical’ ones, like marketing, sales, business models.
‘Spiritual’ ones, like mindset, energy, vibration.
You name it, I tried it.
In all that work, all the books I read and coaches I worked with,
these are some central ideas I kept coming across:
🟡 That I was somehow ‘not open to receive’;
🟡 That I still had beliefs about lack (consciously or unconsciously);
🟡 That I resisted abundance for whatever reason;
🟡 That my vibration was not aligned with wealth;
🟡 Or that I was being tested by the universe and there was still something to uncover or learn that I hadn’t seen yet.
It sounded spiritual.
Profound.
True.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘀𝗵𝗶𝘁.
What all these sentences 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 said, of course, was this:
“It’s your own fault that you don’t experience abundance yet.
That you’re not rich yet.”
It was just dressed up as pretty language.
Blame disguised as spirituality.
Control pretending to be empowerment.
It was 𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 because it invalidated my lived experience.
I was doing 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 I could to change my reality.
But instead of acknowledging that, they told me I was still flawed.
Otherwise, the external situation would have shifted already.
It was 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
it implied that you can control outcomes if you do everything right.
Think the right thoughts!
Take the right actions!
Emit the right frequency—and you’ll get what you want.
These spiritual teachings 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳 in separation:
There’s a you, separate from the universe, separate from abundance—
and you need to do something to attract that abundance to you, somehow.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵.
You’re as separate from the universe as your arm is from your body. (Assuming you still have both.)
Like all your cells together form one body, so all people (and planets. And money.) form life. There’s nothing outside of it. Nothing apart from it.
You were never flawed.
The framework of assumptions and beliefs was.
Love,
