“Your life is a reflection of your mindset and beliefs,”
I read in a blog from someone I used to follow.
And I suddenly noticed: hey.
I no longer resonate with that belief.
A couple of years ago I would have wholeheartedly agreed.
Yes, of course your beliefs shape your reality!
Both your conscious and subconscious beliefs!
That’s why I learned a ton of tools, methods and modalities to transform and release beliefs at both levels.
They seemed to work.
Over the years, a lot has changed.
I stopped chasing better thoughts and started noticing what was here before any thought at all.
I no longer worked with beliefs.
No longer messed with my mindset.
I no longer took beliefs or thoughts seriously,
and simply saw them for what they are: just passing, like weather.
Not mine.
Just words coming and going.
Beliefs were no longer believed.
No longer seen as urgent, important, or capable of shaping anything.
Now that I no longer touched beliefs, they loosened their grip.
Disappeared altogether.
Even ones I once REALLY, deeply believed.
Like this one: your life is a reflection of your mindset and beliefs.
I look at that so differently now.
(And who knows how I’ll look at it later? But I can only speak for now, now.)
Now I see that what I thought of as ‘my’ life, ‘my’ thoughts, ‘my’ mindset was all life, expressing itself in different forms and shapes.
Not mine or anyone’s.
Just … coming and going.
Sometimes I forget how different I see now.
Until I encounter something I used to believe that no longer resonates.
It’s not that I was wrong before and right now.
It’s not that anyone is wrong or right.
There’s no one to be right.
No one to be wrong.
Just life, unfolding itself.
Love,
