Last Saturday, this thought came out of nowhere:
If I’d write a book on money now, what would be in it?
I wasn’t thinking about writing a book. At all. But this thought came up, and I started making notes.
In a couple of minutes, the outline for the book was ready.
I looked at it, and felt: yep. This is it. This is the book.
Before I knew it, the introduction was done.
“I think I just started writing my next book,” I wrote on LinkedIn and Substack.
“It might be done next week.
It might take 10 years.
I might rewrite it 65 times.
It might die down as quietly as it started.
We’ll see how it unfolds.”
That night, I wrote 2 or 3 chapters. It still flowed.
On Sunday, the flow continued.
And much to my own surprise, the first draft was finished that afternoon.
Books write themselves—it has nothing to do with me—but I’ve never felt it this strongly.
On Monday, I edited the book.
On Tuesday, I read through the manuscript one last time before I sent it to the formatter who will turn it into a beautiful ebook.
I’ve known for years I’d one day write a book about this topic.
But it was never the right time. And now, apparently, it is.
“Money: The Illusion of Safety, Scarcity, and Self
A practical nondual exploration of a deeply dual topic” is born.
Looks like it’ll be out sometime next week.
An online money journey / program will accompany it, and will probably start the week after.
Details will fall into place later.
I will keep you posted.
