My eighth book, Awakened Awareness, arrived.
And it feels SO different from my other books.
Not just because of how effortlessly it came to be.
But also in how it feels to watch the book come to life.
𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀, 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
That maybe, this book would be my breakthrough! (Whatever that meant exactly.)
I hoped that people would like it. Or, even better, would love it.
That the book would make impact, transform lives, and make a difference.
And many other unspoken hopes and dreams I didn’t even realize I carried.
Adding pressure I couldn’t name.
𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗮 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.
That it had to do something.
Prove something.
Be something.
This one doesn’t.
And neither do I.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗜 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁.
This book lands in a clear, clean space.
I have no hopes, no dreams, no expectations.
No excitement and no pressure.
No goals and no intentions.
If people like it, cool.
If they don’t, cool.
If I don’t sell a single copy, cool.
If I sell tons, cool.
I genuinely don’t mind. I don’t even think about it.
Writing and publishing books never felt this right.
This easy.
This free.
This boek doesn’t need to do anything.
It’s enough that it exists.
Love,

P.S. My new book ‘Awakened Awareness: 93 Reminders for an Effortless Life’ is available now.
