You sometimes wish business and life were easier.
But …
What if you don’t double-check that email, refine that offer, tweak that sales page—what guarantees it’ll work?
If you don’t keep an eye on your results, how do you know you will get what you want?
So when things go smoothly, you (unconsciously!) revert back to hard:
You hit your biggest revenue month … and immediately start trying to secure the next one.
You simplify your business … then overcomplicate the marketing.
Your team runs smoothly … but you keep stepping in, micromanaging things that don’t require you.
You finally take time off … only to fill it with errands, emails, and random busyness so it doesn’t feel like you’re wasting time.
Because when Important Things flow easily, you distrust it.
Sure, finding a parking spot on a notoriously crowded street? No big deal. That’s the type of easy you can handle.
But when it comes to things that feel big, urgent, necessary? Nah. You need to stay on top of it! You need to manage, control, plan, measure, check, double-check, gazillion-check. Better safe than sorry!
I know.
It’s what seems smart. Logical. Reasonable.
And it’s what we learned:
That life is unpredictable and can’t be fully trusted.
That businesses don’t run themselves—you need to!
That what comes easy, goes easy, too.
We learned to distrust ease.
And life.
We learned to counter that distrust with grasping, controlling, and trying to manage what happens.
But tell me honestly:
How often were you able to dictate what happened?
Are you 100%, no doubt, certain you controlled an outcome?
Did you make that client sign up?
Or did they somehow say ‘yes’?
Did you create that parking spot or did it just happen to be there, somehow?
(And if you created it, why can’t you create everything you want, when you want it, always?)
Is it possible that life flows anyway, with or without your frantic antics to control it?
It already does.
You’re just too busy to notice it.
Love,

P.S. The loosening of effort and micro-managing life is what happens in my private coaching.
