Here are 3 unusual tips for a happy new year (or happiness in general, really):

1️⃣ Don’t chase goals and dreams.

This is one of the greatest traps of the mind.

It’s rooted in the belief that happiness, fulfillment or success lies somewhere in the future, at the end of an achievement.

But the act of chasing creates the very sense of lack you’re trying to overcome.

Hold your dreams loosely in your hands instead. If you reach them, good, if not, good.

Stay rooted in THIS moment instead of fantasizing your way out of right now towards a future moment that isn’t even real.

Only NOW is.

And whatever feeling you seek can only be found HERE. NOW.

2️⃣ Don’t try to solve your problems.

Problems are created by the same mind that tries to solve them.

That’s how the mind keeps you trapped in an endless cycle of striving, seeking, and solving … never getting to a problem-free zone.

The mind will always create new problems.

But in the world of duality, wherever there’s a problem, there’s ALSO already a solution.

You just don’t see it yet.

Let the solution come to you at its own time. (You can’t control or force that anyway …)

Clarity, answers and insights WILL come.

If there’s an action you need to take, it will arise the moment you need to take it.

Not a moment sooner (nor later).

(And most problems have a way of magically dissolving if you just leave them alone.)

3️⃣ Don’t strive for balance.

Everyone is trying to balance work, life, relationships, and dreams, as if life is a scale.

What if balance is a myth?

Life moves in waves, ebbs, and flows. Let it carry you instead of trying to control its rhythm.

If you just leave life alone, you’ll see how business and life unfold with ease.

Stay grounded in yourself, in this moment, and let all the other moments take care of themselves.

You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much lighter life can be …

(Once you stop resisting the idea that life can’t be this simple and you need more control, or else …)

Love,
