Sometimes you’re in that in-between phase where you know what you no longer want, but you’re not sure what you DO want.
You can sense little sparks of an answer, the beginning of clarity, but you can’t grasp it yet.
Sometimes you’ve let go of the old but the new isn’t here yet.
You let go of beliefs and habits that no longer serve you but you’re not sure which new beliefs and habits will take their place.
Sometimes you feel things are shifting in you.
Change is in progress but you’re not sure where it’ll take you yet.
Sometimes you just don’t know.
For many, this is a super uncomfortable place to be. We don’t like it when we don’t know!
Where do you go when you’re not sure of your direction?
What can you do when you don’t know what to do?
We frantically look for answers, keep ourselves busy with nonsense so we can pretend that we’re productive and active (2 HIGHLY overrated qualities in our world), or do whatever we can to avoid feeling uncomfortable because we’re in a phase of not-knowing.
The answer is to accept and surrender.
Accept that right now, you don’t know what you think you need to know.
Surrender to this phase, and stop trying to force the answers to come through. (That’s pointless anyway.)
Tell yourself this:
❤️ It’s safe to not know.
❤️ What I know right now is all I need to know right now.
❤️ Answers and inspiration will come at the perfect time, they always do.
❤️ I don’t know what the perfect time is, and I don’t need to know. My soul does, and she knows what she’s doing.
❤️ I’m exactly where I need to be.
❤️ All the clarity I need will come the moment I need it. If it’s not here, I don’t need it yet.
What if you FULLY accepted where you are right now, and trusted that everything in your life is unfolding exactly as it should?
Need more inspiration to find joy in that phase between the old and the new?
My book ‘The Gap – bridge the space between where you are and where you want to be’ is for you.
