I just saw that expression again: money loves speed.
I’ve seen dozens of coaches use that expression over the years.
Usually to emphasize that you need to take massive action, and preferably now! And you gotta use momentum or else your opportunities go away!
And so many people then start to think that all this is true, and you need to take massive action, and you always need to act and think FAST or else you will miss your boat!
A world of scarcity – and lack thinking is the foundation of this (and so many other!!) expression(s).
Maybe you believe that money loves speed.
And if that idea serves you, hold onto it.
But if it doesn’t?
And it triggers some kind of worry, lack or fear?
This expression is NOT true for you and it does NOT serve you to hold onto it.
And in general: don’t buy into ANY expression or belief without questioning its validity for YOU.
Something can be true for millions of people and be untrue for you.
Especially now, in these times where the old structures and paradigms – the old world with all its beliefs and ways of thinking – is crumbling down, to be replaced with a new world. New truths. New ideas and ways of being.
Don’t buy into the old (nor the new!!) without checking if it still resonates with your deepest truth.
And let go of EVERYTHING that doesn’t.
Unless, of course, that statement doesn’t feel true for you at all. In that case, feel free to hold on to everything, even when it no longer serves you.
Thinking for yourself and having a critical mind sometimes takes courage, because you go against the grain and can feel like an alien amidst others.
Have courage. Be willing to feel like an alien.
People who resonate with your (new) truths will show up sooner or later.
And feeling like an alien becomes your new normal quicker than you’d think.
To thinking for yourself, baby! 🙂
