She believes you can achieve your goals, as long as you buckle down, keep pushing, do lots of things you don’t necessarily feel like, and be OK with that taking a toll on your personal life.
Guess what her business and life look like?
I believe you can do EVERYTHING in business in your own way, on your own terms, and you don’t have to settle for anything.
I believe you don’t have to struggle or suffer to get what you want.
Guess what my business looks like?
None of this is a coincidence.
What you expect and believe something to be, is pretty much how it turns out.
And yes, sure, sometimes things turn out in a completely different way.
Sometimes life takes you by surprise – and not always in a ‘good’ way.
But your basic, default attitude towards ANY area of your business and life, absolutely sets the tone for how you experience it to be.
Because what you expect, is what you actively start LOOKING for.
I’m still learning in this area, too, by the way!
I totally believe that things can only be as easy as I ALLOW them to be.
And that belief shows me ALL the areas where I do not allow that yet.
All the areas where I’ve adopted other people or societies’ beliefs that are in direct conflict with this.
And I can see I have some more allowing and letting go of crap beliefs to do 🙂
This month, the topic in Rise, my online business healing program, is Allowing Ease.
This morning, I thought I’d find some beautiful quotes to post in the Facebook group.
I googled: “quote life is easy.”
NONE of the quotes that showed up were positive. None!!!
It made me realize how brainwashed we are in believing that ‘easy’ doesn’t exist, has no value, or is just plain wrong.
- Easy come, easy go.
- No pain, no gain.
- Idleness is the devil’s workshop.
- Nothing worth having comes easy.
- What comes easy won’t last, what lasts won’t come easy.
- Life isn’t meant to be easy.
It’s so interesting to explore what you expect and believe, and see how your experiences reflect this.
I’m paying extra attention to this myself now.
That shows me some beliefs and expectations I wasn’t consciously aware of.
The things I (unconsciously) expect to be difficult, are the exact things I experience as being difficult.
The things I (unconsciously) expect to be easy, are the exact things I experience as being easy.
(And even though I KNOW how all this mindset stuff works, it never ceases to surprise and delight me.)
Part of me still believes that launching is a drag, that it’s not easy to grow my list, and that finding the perfect home for me will be difficult – if possible at all.
I fully believe that it’s easy to always find the best support I need for anything in my business and life; that it’s easy to always know what’s best for me; and that it’s easy to do things my way, regardless of what other people may or may not think about that.
Guess what each of those areas look like?
What would happen if I choose to expect that launching is fun and growing my list is easy?
What if I didn’t have to do ANYTHING to find my dream home, and ask it to come find me instead?
What if indeed…..(AND I’m choosing all this now!)
What do you expect to be easy?
What do you expect to be hard or impossible?
And what if you allowed that to be easy instead?
What if, baby….
What if indeed….
To allowing more ease,
