Want to write better copy, with more ease? Here's the recipe.

During the past 2 weeks, I sat down several times to write copy for the sales page of my brand new mastermind program.

And…nothing happened. I had NO inspiration whatsoever.

Which was weird.

I had a pretty clear picture of the program in my mind. I’ve written dozens of sales pages before, so I kinda know what to do.

I even had some basic copy I wrote a couple of weeks earlier. All I had to do was tweak it a little, and that was it.

But when I looked at the copy I already wrote, all I thought was: Meh. Booooorrrring.

So last Thursday, I decided to go back to the essence of all copy:

1. What’s your message?

2. Who is it for?

3. What do you want them to do after they read it?

4. And how can you say it all from your heart, in your own voice, without holding back?



THAT was the key to unlocking the words I was already sensing inside.

I sat down and wrote. After an hour and a half the copy was ready.

And this is what I posted about it on Facebook – part 1:


The reason I wasn’t able to write the copy before, was because of something I teach my own clients all the time:

The moment you sit down to write something related to business, marketing or sales, you get into your ‘let’s-get-serious-now-‘cause-this-is-for-real-marketing-you-know’ – zone.

In that zone, you’re soulsuckingly serious.

You enter a mental, rational state.

And thoughts like these are triggered as well:

“Oh, I hope people like it. They’ll like it, right? Shit, what if they don’t? What if they don’t sign up?

Oh, fuck, and what if they DO? Then I have to deliver the program for real. And make good on my promises.”

In that zone you get disconnected from the things that REALLY matter:

Your connection to your heart. To your soul. And to your ideal client.

Your connection with your message, your purpose, and the REAL reason you’ve created your program in the first place:

To do what you love to do most, and, as a result, make a difference in the lives of your clients.

Always connect to what truly matters and what you really want to say.

Then, spit it out in your own words, in your own authentic voice.

Unleash your true self in every aspect of your business, marketing, and (copy)writing.
It makes everything sooooo much easier and more fun.

It automatically makes you stand out from the crowd (because ab-so-lu-te-ly NO one in the entire world is exactly like you).

And it makes you feel happier, too!
