If so, you’re not the only one who feels this way.
Most women coaches struggle with visibility from time to time.
Sometimes because they don’t know how to become more visible (or: how to do it in a way that feels good to them – the ways they can think of just don’t feel right.)
But mostly, it’s because the thought of becoming more visible makes them uncomfortable.
I know this from my own experience, too.
It felt uncomfortable and even unsafe to be seen. All kinds of doubts and fears were triggered every time I took a step ‘out there’.
(If I took any steps at all – the first 2 years I was in business visibility scared me SO much, I didn’t even have a website…Nor did I do ANY kind of marketing at all!!)
Most women coaches aren’t as scared as I used to be of becoming (more) visible.
Still, it often triggers some doubts or fears, for example:
- Doubting if you’re good enough;
- Worrying if people will like you (or not!);
- Being scared people will criticize you (oh, horror!), or that;
- People will think you email too much / are too salesy or pushy;
As a result, a lot of women coaches aren’t visible enough. They play smaller than they’re capable of, aren’t attracting enough clients, and aren’t shining their brightest light.
So how do you change this?
Step #1: Shift your perspective
Stop focusing on everything you doubt or fear. That only makes you feel more insecure.
And start looking at all the benefits being more will bring you:
What becomes possible when you’re more visible? How will it change your business & life for the better?
How will that make you feel?
Step #2: Decide to become more visible
And decide you will do what it takes to make it happen.
Don’t worry: you don’t have to take big leaps if you don’t want to, or don’t feel ready yet.
Small steps will get you where you want to go, too.
Plus: don’t forget you started your business for a reason.
You wanted to help people, coach them, and make a difference – right?
You can ONLY do that if people know you exist and understand why they should hire YOU instead of someone else.
You owe it to yourself, your business, and your potential clients to make yourself visible and shine!
You CAN do this, no matter how much you doubt yourself or fear more visibility.
If I could do it (coming from ZERO visibility and waiting TWO years before I even started marketing and had a website, because I was so scared of visibility!!) than YOU most definitely can, too!
So take these first steps today, and keep taking steps after that. You’ll be fine, I promise!
