Result-booster #1 – do what you know

This quote from Chris Argyris says it all:

“The problem is not that we don’t know what to do.

The problem is that we don’t do what we know.”

Not doing that thing you KNOW you must do keeps you from getting results. It blocks the flow completely.

Is there something YOU know you should do?

Take a deep breath, and DO it. It will give you tons of energy, and will bring your desired results much closer to you.

 

Result-booster #2 – use your resistance

Most people don’t like to feel resistance. It feels uncomfortable, and we tend to ignore or suppress what we don’t like to feel.

BUT…

What you resist, persists.

And resistance is ALWAYS an important sign. If you work with it instead of against it, it can be an extremely valuable tool.

 

Resistance can tell you for example:

  • What you need to learn or do in a certain situation;
  • What no longer serves you that you need to let go of;
  • It can be a warning sign not to trust someone;
  • It can be the entrance to a (huge) inner shift that can result in a giant leap forward;
  • That it’s time to change something (and what it is that needs to be changed).

Listen to what your resistance is telling you. And act upon the information it gives you.
 
Result-booster #3 – follow your guidance

Use your intuition to show you your next best step.

You can do that by asking questions like these:

  • What is the most important thing for me to focus on now?
  • What is the next step I can take to achieve this goal?
  • What can I do now to improve my results fast?

Pay attention to the first thing(s) that comes up. That’s usually the best thing to do.

 

This week’s transformational action:

 

Take some time to explore:

  • If there is something you’re not doing right now, that you know you really SHOULD be doing, and
  • If there is something you are resisting.

 

Instead of ignoring or numbing it, try to get to the bottom of it.

Why aren’t you doing it? What are you resisting exactly?

Ask your intuition to help you find the answers you seek, and act upon the information you get.

This will boost your results and get you back into flow every time!
