STEP UP, step down
A lot of heart-centered entrepreneurs have a very deep desire to step up and play bigger.

They want to reach more people, make a bigger difference and really live up to their full potential.

When I work with my clients on creating their own Big Mission, they are often very surprised to realize how big their mission really is.

They kinda knew that something bigger was calling them, but they only start to realize the depth of their desire and mission once I guide them through the steps to formulate their mission.

It does not matter how big your mission is: if it requires you to play bigger than you are doing right now, it will always feel like a stretch and a bit scary as well.

And every time you think about playing bigger and stepping up, the same doubts and questions arise:

How the hell am I going to do THAT? Where do I start? Am I able to do this? What will others think of me? What if I fail? OMG, and what if I succeed?!

To inspire you to step up despite these voices, I will share 7 things I did to step up and into a much bigger calling:

#1 Listen to your desires and take them seriously

Your deepest desires are connected to your purpose, your mission, your calling.

You don’t just have random desires that keep coming back and whisper to you for no reason.

Listen to them. They show you your next phase and vision of what’s in store for you and your business.

“Learn to follow the quiet voice within that speaks in feelings rather than words;

follow what you ‘hear’ inside, rather than what others may be telling you to do.”

Bob Proctor

#2 Be courageous

This does not mean: do not be afraid.
It means you give priority to your desires.

You spend more time nourishing your vision and less time thinking about everything that could go wrong or be difficult.

Take a risk. Dare something. Be afraid….but act anyway.
#3 Don’t let anyone put you down and don’t care what other people think

The only one you are responsible for is you.  The only one who can live your life is you. The only life you can live is your own.

Follow your own path regardless of what other people will or might think.

I was once afraid of people saying:

Who does she think she is?

Now I have the courage to stand and say:

This is who I am.”

Oprah Winfrey

#4 Never give up

Change is a process. It takes time. Some things will unfold faster than you could ever imagine. Other things seem to take forever.

Some things will go right. Some will go wrong. It’s all part of the process.

But whatever you do: do not give up.

As long as your vision is alive, and you still know and feel that this is what you want, you have to keep going.
#5 Step by step

Take it one step at a time. You don’t have to do everything at once, and that’s not even possible.

You don’t even have to know all of your steps in advance.

Just start where you’re at with the resources and knowledge you now have, and take it from there.
#6 Let go of whatever does not serve you anymore

This includes habits, thoughts, stuff, behavior, and sometimes even people.
#7 Get help

Find a mentor, a coach, a Mastermind group, a program, a workshop, a VA….whatever help you need, just GET IT.

And yes, you do need help.

I tried to do everything myself and figure it all out by myself for quite some time.

That didn’t work very well.

Now, I get as much help as I can. I hire high-level coaches and participate in programs all the time.
It makes everything so much easier and I know I need the best support I can get to really grow my business and myself.

This week’s Transformational Action

Do you have a deep desire that keeps coming back and pulls at you?

Take it seriously. Write your desire down. Dig deep.

What is it you really, really, REALLY want?

Write it down and put it somewhere you can see it all the time.

Connect to it consciously, and focus on how you will feel if this desire was turned into reality.

Make this conscious connection everyday for the next 7 days, and keep your eyes open to chances and opportunities that will help you manifest this desire.
