What do you want your business to look like one year from now?
Will you be satisfied if nothing has changed?

Will you be happy if everything stays the same – including your income and the number of people you reach?

If your answer to these questions is YES! – congratulations!

You can stop reading this article and go for a walk or something 🙂

But if your answer is NO! – now is the time to think about what you DO want (and what you need to do in order to accomplish this).

Just saying you want things to change is not going to make it happen.

(if only it was that easy…;) )


These three steps show you what you need to get started on growing your reach and your business:


Step 1: you need to have a crystal clear mission and vision

Before you can make any changes, you need to know what it is you want to accomplish. You need to have a vision and a mission for your business.

How much do you want your business to grow? (in income as well as the number of people you want to reach). What does your BIG mission look like?

Who are the people you want to reach and what’s the message you want to share with them?


Step 2: you need a plan

You don’t have to know every little detail or plan every step you’re going to take over the next five years.

I personally don’t believe in long term plans because you never know what will unfold after you’ve taken the first few steps.

Everything grows organically, including your business.

But you DO need to know these first couple of steps. And it helps if you have some idea of the things you need to do after that.

And of course, you have to take action. Just thinking, planning, visualizing and getting ready is NOT enough.


Step 3: you need supporting beliefs (and actually believe them). 

A lot people – and especially heart-centered entrepreneurs – struggle with limiting beliefs.

I have struggled with A LOT of limiting beliefs myself…and still do.

(Luckily I found a great way to transform my beliefs so they are no longer holding me back. This is the same method I use to transform my clients’ beliefs in Big Mission, Big Impact).

It’s not always clear what your limiting beliefs are. You might even think you don’t have them.


But if you are not getting the results you want, it’s almost certain that limiting beliefs are (unconsciously) influencing your behavior.


They might sound like this:

  • I’m never going to be able to…..
  • Who do I think I am to……..
  • I don’t believe it’s possible to….
  • How am I ever going to …….
  • I’m too old / too young / too……….to……………..
  • It’s not realistic to……

Sentences that start like this are usually negative beliefs.

As long as you believe them (even if you believe them partially), they influence your behavior and therefore the results you will get.

And if you want to reach your goals, ESPECIALLY those big, bold goals, you need to transform those beliefs.


This week’s transformational action

Take some time to write down your mission for your business.

Dream as BIG as possible. Imagine you have no doubts and no fears and you’re capable of absolutely everything.

What does your mission look like? How many people do you want to reach? How much money do you want to make?


What are you REALLY called to do?

Once you know and feel what this looks like, the next step will automatically present itself to you.
