Knowing that it’s time to step up and grow your business is one thing.
Actually making it happen can be quite challenging – I know all about that 😉
Taking the following steps really helped me grow my business.
I think they can help you as well:
1. (Re)connect with your purpose
Why did you start your business? What is the difference and contribution you want to make?
Do you know what your unique purpose is? And does your business (still) represent that?
2. Dream BIG
Once you have (re)connected with your purpose, it’s time to start dreaming.
Where are you going? What is it you REALLY want for yourself and your business?
Don’t hold back – no one has to know about your big bold plans – yet 🙂
Allow yourself to feel your deepest desires.
Those are the ones you are absolutely able to manifest.
“You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true.”
Of course, you still have to do the work. But all the talents and qualities you need to accomplish your true desires are already yours.
3. Take the first step
Chances are you know exactly what that first step is. It might scare you or make you feel uncomfortable. But when you are honest with yourself, you know it’s the right step to take.
If you REALLY have no clue what your first step can be, ask for a sign.
The Universe will give it to you. Just be open to receive it, so you’ll recognize it when it shows up.
4. Allow yourself to make mistakes
When you wait for the day you do everything perfect you’re in for a long, long wait.
The reality is this:
You WILL make mistakes.
You WILL do things that, in retrospect, perhaps weren’t the smartest things to do.
We all make mistakes. Learn from them, correct them if you can and move on.
I couldn’t write anything in English if I were afraid to make mistakes.
I’ve only just started and already made some nice ones 😉
(For instance this one in the application form for a Free Breakthrough Session:
“How did you here about me.”
I rest my case.)
5. Let go.
What is it you need to let go of to make room for growth in your business?
Maybe it is time to let go of your need to be in control of everything (so you can finally hire an assistant and delegate all tasks you don’t like or aren’t good at).
Or maybe it is time to stop doubting the value of your work, so you feel finally free to charge what you’re worth.
This week’s Transformational Action
- Make the time to (re)connect to your purpose and deepest desires. Translate this into a big goal for your business.
- Identify what might be standing in your way to achieve this goal. A lack of knowledge? Thoughts and fears that keep you playing small?
- What do you need to overcome these obstacles? Hire a coach? Learn something new?
- Get help. You don’t have to do it alone (and when your goal is really big, it’s even impossible to do it alone
P.S. Are you ready to for the next level in your business but is something holding you back?
